Java™ Technology

We selected Java™ , a high performance software language that provides optimal flexibility in its software, as the base language for our LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ products, resulting in more power for our users. Java will enable our software to perform well into the 21st Century.

Java is quickly replacing older forms of programming language and is widely taught in colleges and universities throughout the country. Thousands of companies both large and small, in every segment of business, have recognized the advantages of proven Java technology, and utilize it in their businesses.

General Java Characteristics
General Characteristics of Java provide optimal flexibility resulting in a wide-range of choices in the software utilization, i.e. user preferences, graphics capabilities, conversion of information, etc. 

Java Message Service (JMS)
JMS acts as an event driven communications channel providing real-time information to the LoadMaster® and PowerBroker™ systems. This is true for the transmission of information via mobile communications, planning functions, asset management, EDI, etc.

Enterprise Java Beans (EJB)
EJB's are component based middle tier business rules of logic. The application server runs and manages communication with EJB's to many types of clients, i.e. PC, Browser, Cell Phone, etc. Therefore the workload is on the server, not on the clients.
